Kids, get some class

When you are early on in your career and see someone have different version of “success” from yours, it is easy to get smitten.

We want to be in touch with them. We want to be in their good books. We are almost desperate.

I know we have all been there.

I happened to get in touch with a kid with 2-3 years of experience, who was equally desperate after knowing my career graph.

Here is the mistake they made, though:

Instead of connecting with me on my email, they kept simping me for my number. Despite my mutliple no’s. (What is it with boys in their 20s and their craze for the other person’s number?)

Oh yes, the sureshot way to draw someone away is to ask for their number. Get a class. And hone it often.
