There are two types of photographers

Type 1 are the professional ones. They are into photography for a living. Or if not for a living, they know the ins and outs of the art of photography, something that is not comprehendible by laymen.

Then there are type 2, which all of us are on our iPhones. We use phone to capture moments. And people. In this type 2, some of us are great capturers of others, some of us aren’t. Most of us think that it is a talent or skill issue. Respectfully, I disagree.

If you are in Type 2, being able to click presentable pictures of people is not a talent or skill issue. It is about having the empathy to turn the phone/person in the right light that makes a good picture happen.

All of us can click a presentable human picture with a good camera. The question is, if we care enough to click a good picture.

Also, this post is not just about clicking pictures. But that’s for another day.
