As we grow up, we should do more of what kids do.
Jump around.
Ask more questions.
Play hide and seek.
Play in the park with strangers.
Climb a slide in the park and dive off it.
Have affliction to at least one sport.
Forgive and forget quickly.
Why so?
Because the pressures of growing up catch up and make us forget having fun altogether – to pay our bills, to get that car, to look good for that party, to deal with no’s – from clients, bosses, friends, what not, to make sure we have clean bathrooms, making sure we look presentable during work and making sure we recover from World Cup Final loss – will take so much toll from us that we won’t even remember how to have fun (and fun will be limited only to late nights boozings).
Remember as kids we had fun, didn’t booze, and slept on time?
Yes, bring out the kid in you. You need it more than it needs you.
