Can you get audience by spending money?

In the short run, by spending a lot on performance marketing, yes.

In the long run, if you haven’t built trust and your product isn’t good, no.

We often regret “I have wasted so much time pursuing things that do not connect with what I am doing right now, so let me just spend some money and get some audience for my work, because, hey, I so deserve it!”

But the audience only stays because you have built trust – whether it is online or offline.

And trust is built by a good product, and sharing your expertise.

If you could use money to buy trust, people with humble beginnings would never climb the ladder, nor would people with loads of money would ever lose.

Good products and breakthrough trust are often built on the foundation of time. Everything else, is a castle in the air.
