Whenever I offer consulting to someone, I also offer to send them some 2-3 of multiple resources that have helped me.
Ideally most consultants don’t, but here is why it is helpful:
1. If they truly can win with those resources, that’s wonderful. I do not want to have a feast at the cost of dodging someone of good wisdom.
2. If they do not have the time and still want consultation, that is when I would have truly earned it. It would also let them know that what will I offer will be above and beyond it. Which is when I think the consultation will be truly meaningful.
