Very unpopular opinion but building a social media following does not “sell stuff and make you rich”.
Yes, it might get the first few buyers. Or a first tens of thousands of buyers if you have a big following.
What makes you rich when you sell through social media, is trust.

Build trust. Let people know you care for them. Sales are a byproduct no one would ever say no to.
