I have a devastating news for you

Do you have someone with whom you want(ed) a closure but never got it?

I have a devastating news for you: They do not view the episode as you do!

I have seen it time and again with multiple people that how they perceived a situation was entirely different from the memory of I carried it.

The best (and the worst) part is: we all have our own versions of the truth. Had the versions been the same, the falling apart or at least the lack of closure would not have occurred in the first place.

This is devastating for a lot of people because they are now not only devoid of a closure, but also devoid of the lack of it. There is nothing in the other person’s mind that needs closure in the first place.

At first it sweeps your mind like a kid going downhill from a ski top, apparently fine but internally still unable to figure out what is happening in the first place.

However, once you make peace with it, you become a pro in a manner you had least expected. I’m not just talking about skiing.
