Childhood memories of books

When I was a kid, I had a weird habit of studying.

Once I had studied something, I would tear up the pages of the book. My Mom would later tell me I studied alphabet from 5 books due to my book tearing habit!

So when I grew up, every year before the school began, my parents and sisters would sit together and legit stitch my books from the binding, before they would put classy covers to them.

We go on to blame our parents for our traumas (even though that is true), sometimes it is worth remembering that they did their best. Just because they aren’t as qualified as us to understand things, does not mean they were not as well intentioned. Even if they weren’t, we have so much power.

Starting with love. Just like our family started with love.
