Opportunity with Tesla

Ola Cabs pays a certain bonus to its drivers for staying online for a duty of at least eleven hours at a stretch.

The cab company fears Tesla’s arrival, yet it is somehow making way for Tesla to get in.

Most drivers would drive for eleven or more hours for the bonus – the downside is that a driving job of this long duration would mean less mental presence on the part of drivers and increased risk of accident.

Which leaves the company with two options:

1. Continue with what it is doing and allow Tesla to take over in less than half a decade.

2. Do the emotional labour of providing bonus on duty of eight hours and zero bonus of duty exceeds nine hours by any means. This would make the drivers thrive with being emotionally supportive for their tired customers, something that AI of Tesla won’t ever be able to replicate.
