The Athlete Recovery Period

Becoming an elite level athlete comes with great responsibilities – training intensely and rigorous diet, and not to forget, not being carried away by fame.

Another essential requirement of life of every elite athlete is: recovery.

Recovery is as important, if not more, than exercise and diet.

If athletes do it, why do human beings consider long working hours as a badge of honour?

Not because they are not aware, rather because they don’t know what to do when they do nothing.

This is important, most people work not because they have to; rather because they would be scared to meet the inner part of themselves that screeches out for attention and self improvement in solitude.

Solitude is a blessing, if we know how to use our blessings.
