Once an old colleague sent me two referrals. Like very bad referrals. That too, without me asking him to refer me!
In a conversation thereafter, he admittedly said they were very bad referrals!
The saga continued once or twice later as well. Like, total un-fit referrals.
I have no idea what’s on his mind, but it is honestly heartbreaking to be felt “unemployed” from a colleague just because I am not publishing my business and investment numbers.
But that’s okay. The Sindhi me would lovingly be thought as poor vis-a-vis someone “too busy” to take up more business.
Keep sending those messy referrals bro! (I initially wanted to text him to stop referring me, but him referring me feels good. Only people I enjoy working with know I am less available. And that’s beautiful!)
