Why I ghostwrite books

Writing a book is hard.

A lot of people I ghostwrite their book, started with an intent to write their book on their own, but figured it had one of the following problems:

• It was difficult to bring their ideas together

• Writing a book requires longer commitment, unlike a LinkedIn post which could be written in a few minutes or an hour.

• You need discipline and commitment to the process, more than a good idea.

• You need to be okay with the fact that it is a long journey that requires an effort of almost 3-6-12 months with no immediate returns, but beautiful, stupendous results for the rest of your life.

̐• There needs to be a way of connecting with the audience and bringing even the most mundane topics to forefront in an interesting way.

• Most people I work with are experts in their fields, and thus, breaking down what they know subconsciously into something that is understandable by the audience requires someone who is good at it.

• And lastly, the person I am working with do not have the time, understandably.

In almost a decade of observing the creator economy and 6-7 years of being an active creator, what I know for sure is writing your own book is one of the strongest flex you can have.

As someone who writes and ghostwrites books for a living, it only makes me a partner in this beautiful.
