I understand people like dancing at office parties. Nothing wrong there. However, I also believe there is nothing wrong if someone does not want to dance at an office party.
They are not anti-social nor do they hate their colleagues, just that some people do not speak that language of being ultra-vulnerable, and it’s okay.
Some people connect by dancing collectively, others by deep conversations.
Expression and connection is different for everyone. Awareness is how we recognise it. Care and effort is how we nurture the best of everyone.
PS: This does not change the fact that I suggested my previous team to organise a dance party on my farewell 🙃, but I also recognise a lot of people are not alike. 😇❤️
