If you want to insult someone, call them talented

You have a natural gift.

You are so talented.

You are gifted.

When we say this to someone, we think we are praising them. However, true praise happens when we appreciate their hard work.

Every single one of us has an inclination towards something. Not everyone can be great at Math, science, writing or marketing.

Some sort of natural charisma is required.

What I also know for sure is that charisma in the absence of consistent execution is merely a chime.

Most people reach where they are with relentless action around their goals, most of which most people won’t see.

Praise the invisible action and preparation. That is a true gift.
