14 life truths everyone knows but no one admits

  1. Every irrational person has a rational reason behind what they do. Just because they aren’t articulate doesn’t make their idea irrelevant.
  2. Most people will do ANYTHING but be alone. The goal is to never be most people.
  3. Don’t tell your truth to most people. People aren’t in a habit of listening to anything that shakes their common beliefs.
  4. The more you go, the more ego you let go.
  5. It is all in the mind. But because people’s mind has decided that it is all in the speaking and doing, that is what they do!
  6. Believing you are great is a curse. It tricks you into believing everyone else isn’t.
  7. The default in life has to be being a work-in-progress. But progress requires work. Thus, most people resort to thinking they are great.
  8. The idea isn’t to make others do what you believe in. The idea is to understand what they believe in and why, and then walk together.
  9. “Together” isn’t achieved by ordering. “Together” is achieved when we genuinely want people to come together with us.
  10. For everything effective to come into effect, we must start small. But that diminishes most people’s egos of appearing they are moving mountains. So we start big, halt very soon, and blame everyone other than go deep and take responsibility.
  11. Managing people isn’t difficult, you just need to do the difficult task of managing yourself and being a good listener (who truly listens to understand.)
  12. Our own thoughts irritate us. So we choose not to think and decide to speak. We collectively raise the irritation quotient of the world.
  13. We all want to change the world. If only we began with our own inner world, the world would change. I promise. But changing yourself is a daily job. Most people give up on Day 4. If you live beyond year 4, you are truly going to change the world.
