9 ways to beat the Monday blues at work:

  1. Start your day with gratitude. You have a job that puts food on your table. Isn’t that magical?
  2. Put down in writing (on paper, with pen, please :)) of what is it you wish to accomplish today.
  3. Do that for the first 90 minutes.
  4. Take a 10-minute break. Do not smoke (I cannot control that, but can certainly suggest that). Just chill. Do nothing. Have a slice or three of orange.
  5. Attend your emails and messages.
  6. Have lunch on time. (If your doctor told you to have lunch on time, you’d automatically switch from having it at 4 pm to having it in the middle of meetings because your doctor told you so!)
  7. Have meetings with agenda, not just to vent.
  8. Help your colleagues, don’t just be all “me me me”.
  9. Be grateful for your job again, because it puts food on your table. Is there anything more magical than this?
