Not the college you came from.
Not your CTC.
Not the time spent slogging at your work.
It’s lack of focus.
Most people overcomplicate it,
But your work should have only 2 goals.
1. To work with acute focus in 90 minutes duration,
2. To take more of 5-10 minute breaks
Think about it:
If you’re here to make money from your job,
People need to believe that you are the kind of person that gets things done no matter how tough the things go.
That’s the result of acute focus
The other part is taking small breaks.
The bad news?
Our work is influenced by stakeholders, bosses and approvals we sometimes have no control over.
We see our friends struggling with the same problem in their jobs too.
They are not sure if it is the way of life, if they are supposed to feel tired every day, and if they can be even happy in their corporate lives.
So they waste months, or even years, thinking this is their destiny without changing anything.
The good news?
It doesn’t have to be this way.
The Corporate Life Handbook has different answers.
You can be happy in your current job, wherever you are.
Even if it is NOT your dream job.
That is what I have done in most part of my career.
