Maybe you should stop trying too hard

I am doing my leisurely walk in the park.

This isn’t my workout. I strength trained in the morning already. This is my thinking time.

Several times during my stroll, I see a man walking too fast and overtake me.
They are walking with their hands erect, motioning them as well.
Apparently, they are on a fitness spree.

If you are someone who is mildly into fitness, you know that fitness rarely is a result of walks. You’d rather be fitter and stronger lifting weights 2-3x a week.

It is the easier way out.
Which is exactly the reason most people do not “believe” in strength training.

It turns out, in life, we need consistency on the fundamentals more than intensity or walking fast.
PS: This isn’t just about walking.
