The writing process is an intuitive process

Whenever I sit down to write a book, it is an intuitive process.

A book idea pops up to me when I am meditating.
Or I tell myself about something “I could write a book about this!”
There is no idea of what are going to be the contents of the book, but there is an unwavering confidence that it is “figureoutable”.

Same happens with books I write for my clients.
Sometimes we are discussing an idea, talking deep into it, and then take a break to reflect.
I go for a drive or walk after such a conversation, and bam, there you have the exact way to put it out.

Which is why, I wish more people, especially writers, took time outside of work.
Outdoor walks. Sitting in nature. Or maybe just chilling around and doing your chores at home.

The best things happen away from the time sheet and hours that are not “accounted” for.
Not every “productive” thing is a measure of the time sheet.
