Don’t lose your patience when someone doesn’t receive your call/respond to your message.
People are busy, my friend. They are focused on their work. And as unusual as this may sound, you are not the centre of their universe 🙂
So, if you do not get a response, try this:
1. Send a reminder. A polite one. Sans taunts. 🙂
2. Send them an email/text in case of call unanswered. Saves everyone’s time. Helps them decide at their own pace.
3. Know that no one is conspiring against you. Even if they were, you would be better equipped to deal with it when you are not thinking too much 🙂
So, my friend, as we step into another year full of hopes and possibilities, may we all leave our hurts and pessimism behind 🙂
You have a life. Don’t ruin it on a trivial non-response at work. There will be many.
