There is a difference between givers and wanna-be givers.
Givers are always giving. Flowing. They do it out of their very nature.
Wanna-be givers want to be perceived as givers. But beneath every action is a need to receive. Even if they are going to make the ask a month later, the intent always makes the giving tainted.
The best part is, if you are a giver without allowing anyone to walk over you, you receive in ways you hadn’t even thought. Just that, you don’t have to do it as a transaction. You have to do it out of your very nature, even if you were not receiving.
