After a long day at work, when you have closed your laptop, dimmed the lights and rested on a recliner couch with feet on ottoman, out of nowhere you recollect a past miserable moment, but instead of thinking “I should have done this differently, you now tell yourself “whatever happened has made me a better person today”, it is in that moment that you have moved on. You have freed yourself from the chains of an impossible past, you have let go of resistance that was also making you resist all the goodness, and you have allowed yourself to flow. In that moment, you have truly fallen in unshakeable love with yourself, the love you had been looking for for ages, the love you thought would set you free, was just a decision away to try not change the past. Isn’t it incredible how life is all about decisions? You decide not to beat yourself up, and lo and behold, you are free from your self-created prison? Isn’t that what we all are looking for? Our own decisions are stopping us from moving on. We can make a different one today, and each day from here, and we have a life we have been looking out for all the while. It is really that simple, but it is always about decisions.
