Things I do and don’t do with ChatGPT

What I do with ChatGPT (I use the free model):

  1. Ask for a specific recommendation on a book.
  2. Ask for general book recommendations.
  3. Choices between two tech products.
  4. Recipes
  5. Explaining something I didn’t understand
  6. Car comparisons
  7. Understanding my hospital reports
  8. Asking it to assess the kind of person I am based on my emails/blogs
  9. Understanding the message from a specific book
  10. Research for a project
  11. Giving it a transcript of a Tim Ferris podcast and asking it to summarise for me.
  12. Words for alliteration (I use that a lot, that use switched from Google to ChatGPT).
  13. Asking for a plan on how to make my push-ups better.

What I don’t do with ChatGPT:

  1. Writing. Writing is a process of thinking. I do not want to outsource thinking.
  2. Pictures. So far Canva has been good. For more, time would tell. Plus, 99.99% of my work is writing, and rest is Procreate or Canva.
