The older I get, the more I realise:

  • If you want to understand human behaviour, read fiction more often.
  • If your intuition is saying no, the answer is no. That’s it. We will figure the why later.
  • If you are unsure to do something, put it off for later. This is an unconventional advice, but saves you misery for months.
  • If you want to do something but haven’t been able to do it for a long time, make 15 minutes for it and do it. Rather, block a time of 2 hours and do it.
  • Relationships are not built in one moment of understanding followed by a month of the subtle art of not caring ever. Relationships are built in caring for people every day.
  • People are supposed to be different. Don’t try to make them just like you. Accept them where they are.
  • Life is best lived beyond a screen.
