I am highly influenced and inspired by the work that James Clear and Mel Robbins do.
However, the best I could do to imbibe their learnings into my life is imbibe their learnings into my life. Without taking on their values that do not match with mine.
It turns out, when someone writes something that impacts your life positively, you automatically default to following them ruthlessly, to the point of violating your ownself.
Protect yourself from that at all costs.
An important outcome of learning from good books is also developing the discernment to know what to learn and whom not to learn from.
