Sitting outside the Dubai mall with my bestie whom I met after three long years, I had an invincible joy that I had never experienced before.
We were randomly chatting with each other, and my bestie’s mom, who was also with her, asked me, “So, this is your first time to Dubai?”
I admitted this was my first time outside India. Naturally, I was excited, while meeting my bestie only amplified that joy.
But what I truly felt proud of was that even though I have been blessed beyond my thoughts, I could still be honest with my bestie’s mom.
This is the energy your best friends make you put. They do not judge you for milestones you did not accomplish or accomplish much later than you. They are just okay with who you are.
Today, be that friend to everyone you are a friend with.
