When I was a kid, my middle sister would part my hair from my left side. All her three daughters also got that left partition, much later.
As an act of rebellion, somewhere in my 20s I moved to parting my hair from the right. Just to tell myself that I was not the compliant meek kid anymore.
Very lately, maybe in the past one year, my default partition has become from the centre. And I’m loving it. I got a new haircut yesterday, and the stylist also kept the default hair (after blowdry) as centre partition.
But why am I sharing this trivia with you?
Because the way something gets done consistently, is what becomes your default. And you can always change the way you have been doing things so far.
