The play “Julius Caesar” by Shakespeare is less about conspiring and more of speaking the truth in a different manner.
One way of speaking the truth may be people do not care for you. Another could be they are so busy in not being able to care about themselves that they will not be able to care for you, even though they want to.
The question to ask, is not “What about me?”, rather it is about asking “What about them, is forcing them to behave this way?”
When we know the direction of answer we might shall succeed in digging it out.
