This is a curation of some advices from the internet, that I found to be immensely valuable. None of this is “written” by me. Unlike every other blog you read here. Let’s go!
On raising venture capital: Be a good storyteller. Build relationships with investors early on.
Live a life that most people won’t to live a life that most people can’t.
Engage in developing relationships with anybody and everybody. You probably do not know who is going to be that contact that is going to give you access to a potential opportunity.
Keep on keeping on.
Beliefs are what you think is true. Values are what you think are important. Focus on the things that are important.
A millionaire says I have been happy for more than 40 years, and that is more important to me.
The secret to finding that happiness and peace inside is do not listen to naysayers. Go out there and do your thing.
“There is going to be a sale made. You are either going to buy what they are selling. Or you are going to sell them a bag of goods; which is, I can do whatever I want.”
If you believe something is good and you are good at it, go all in on that.
More companies die from indigestion than starvation. You want to grow, but you want to grow sustainably.
And here is the most stellar advice from someone who makes at least 8-figure dollars in a year:
I have never really focussed on money and profits. I have only focused on people and doing the right thing. When you have your values in place, then everything else follows. Integrity is the number one.
Freedom comes from within. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, it’s where you are mentally and how you experience your life that makes you free. Millionaires and billionaires are not free, if they are a slave to the money.
