Here are a few things that happened in the last 24 hours:
- I got off a train from Nizamuddin.
- Was kind to the Uber driver who took the road instead of the flyover. He was superkind to apologise to me, whereas we all know this flyover fiasco has happened to every single one of us.
- Reached home at 4.15, got out at 4.30 to go to the corporate office of the bank I used to have a car loan from, to get an NOC issued.
- Realised the office close to my place did not offer one, so took a metro to the nearest corporate office. Which also involved changing one metro. The metro journey was still small. Btw, calorie count and steps for the day are done by now.
- Got “Regretting You” by CoHo from the pirated bookstall outside the metro, because I did not want to be the window shopper!
- Got recognised by the guard at the corporate office, as that was exactly the building I used to work out of, in one of my jobs. Felt so good, especially it was from someone who had no right to remember me, but he did!
- Got the NOC from the corporate office.
- Spent a few minutes hoping to get on an Uber, didn’t get one.
- Got of the office myself, said goodbye to the guard, got an auto
- Back home by 6
- Had already soaked khichdi before leaving, prepared it upon reaching
- Had dinner
- Read some bit on Kindle
- (Did sleep some bit late, but that is my carelessness). Rest is all good.
- Oh, btw, this isn’t the last 24 hours. Just from 3.30 pm to bed time.
It’s incredible how much we can get done when we know exactly what we want to do.
