I had the best ever white sauce pasta last night

I am very particular about my food. Especially about dinner. And I have khichdi or dal rice almost every day. By 6 pm.

Except, yesterday there was a birthday party at our spiritual class.

The didi who takes care of things invited us over, and we all had a blast having cake and pasta for dinner. For me, dinner #2.

I could have easily wrapped it up in a tiffin and carried it home, to be eaten the next day. And everyone would have complied.

But I gave in, and ate that pasta (and kheer! weird combo, I know, but delicious nonetheless) right there. It was a controlled portion, but it was!

Of course I felt guilty this morning. And I am not going to do this again for at least the next one year.

However, the pasta was the best ever I have ever had. The best thing was it was cooked by male members of the youth group of the spiritual class. And men do really cook nice.

The bottom line is: Everyone who seems to be living a perfect life, aren’t doing so all of the time. We would love to, we do it most of the time, but we fail too.

The only key is to fail at newer things each time, instead of the same ones. That would make you a successful failure 🙂
