I came across some posts on social media that CSK is the “unluckiest team”, since they are back to playing IPL, when they have disqualified already.
But isn’t that a sport is all about? That you show up like a true sportsman even though the result is decided?
That you show up because that is the only thing you can control? That you show up because you are showing up for yourself more than anything else?
Anyone can be motivated when they are winning. To show up like a true sportsman despite knowing they are not going to win, is a win from within.
If there is anything you learn from CSK during this IPL, may you learn sportsman spirit (and I hope they display it in their game too), and not how to make memes.
