Every single day, I would show up to work with enthusiasm, positivity and zeal to do the work.
Only to realise, others were not as charged up as you are.
Over time, my enthusiasm waned. And my confidence and self-worth followed suit.
It was only after I got to work with some really driven, positive and smart people, did I realise how powerful and positive life could be. And that you can survive thrive without drama.
In life, you absolutely must learn to surround yourself with the right people. And often be ruthless about it. (The choices, not the people :))
Nothing, absolutely nothing is worth trading your peace of mind and enthusiasm for. More people should take that seriously.
