The International Yoga Day, which happens to be on the 21st of June every year, is also the day when all of us from our spiritual class go to the Red Fort, and have an event on physical yoga as well as meditation (yoga for the mind).
It is a public of around ~20,000 people from across Delhi NCR.
As I was assigned and was performing the service of escorting people to their respective places, in spaces of emptiness, I could catch a glimpse of the Red Fort behind the tents.
It was early morning. Today is summer solstice. The sun had risen super early. And in those moments of lit up sky, I saw birds chirping across the Red Fort sky.
In that moment, a lot of life questions vanished.
And a lot of perspective came in.
Along with the need to not rush anywhere, and just be.
Of course, the life questions came back again, but that’s not the point.
The point is to get to a place where your life questions vanish often, to the point they arise less often.
Nature is a faster healer than time.
PS: Pic clicked this morning, upon getting out of the Red Fort grounds.
