When you have invested, saved and done all the good things with the money that you should be doing, what is the next step?
Most people take the remaining money as a liberty to spend money frivolously.
Which is good in some aspects too. You once used to go to H&M sale, you now go to Uniqlo anytime you want. You once had a inkling for planes and now you fly business class consistently. You now get an LV for your Mom and lie to her about the price.
That’s incredible.
But what is more incredible is having the self-control to not do of this, when it is not required of you. Money is an incredible tool, but is a terrible master. If all you are thinking is about how to spend the abundant money you have and not thinking a lot about growing internally as a person, maybe that is not the best kind of richness?
True richness is being too rich, and yet too good to be able to care for materialistic things 95% of the times. Anything else is a quiet and humble road to slavery.
