For the first time

Yesterday was the first time in almost 3 years that I didn’t publish a blog.

Not because I got lazy, rather because Internet services were taken away in my hometown, where I was yesterday.

So what were the great things that came out of that massive Internet cut?

First and foremost, I didn’t have withdrawal symptoms on not being able to access the internet. That was something to be proud of.

Secondly, thinking about scheduling my blog posts one day in advance. It rules out the perils of anonymity.

What do you think?

The need for attention

Go to your favourite influencer on Instagram and you’ll discover they reached here by ton of hard work and patience.

Even the teenagers with massive following have been doing “their thing” since their childhood, perhaps even as toddlers.

Time is a scarce resource, and people want to leverage it to get instant gratification; along with wasting it on the side.

Read the above line again.

And when you do realise the value of time and the value of building an (online or offline) asset, start dedicating the rest of your life to creating it.

Your intuition and your ability to create consistent value matter much more than the viral videos that are forgotten as easily as tiny amount of cheese is forgotten in a pizza.

There’s a pattern

Sometimes it’s just doom.

Sometimes it’s too bad and you don’t know what to do.

Sometimes you are too emotionally tired to even try.

Most of the times, it’s your unhealed patterns that are coming up.

And when any of this happens, trust yourself to work on your inner self. Please read a lot of paperback books. Go for long walks in solitude. Meditate and chillax.

As much as overrated it may sound right now, staying offline to get in-line with yourself is certainly the only way out.
