5 minutes

5 minutes after work, sit and reflect.

5 minutes after food, sit there only.

5 minutes after meditation, do not reach out to phone directly.

5 minutes after workout, breathe.

5 minutes after waking up, revise your affirmations and goals.

The space of 5 minutes creates all the space we need.

Everything but mindset

A friend I know, has been working on YouTube channel of a celebrity. They are a team of four people managing different tasks.

Looking at all of this, an agency approaches them and hires them.

And now the plot twist begins.

The guy who is the main speaker of the videos tries to copy everything of that celebrity.
The way he speaks.
The colours of his clothing.
Video lengths
And of course, the team 🙂

Except just one thing: This celebrity’s mindset. The celebrity’s humility. The celebrity’s wisdom to let people do their own thing instead of dominating them.

So he does all these things the opposite.
Just like all people who want to copy but not emulate.

We all draw our external imageries from people around us. Nothing wrong with it.

However, if we do not work around creating our right vibe and mindset, and just refuse to change, no celebrity would ever be able to help us.

Growth is a personal responsibility. Not something you can pay others and expect to happen with the same old angry and resistant methods.

Forming relationships

Forming relationships is beyond connecting with people from LinkedIn to WhatsApp.

Forming relationships is just being the genuine human being that you are, without ulterior motive of collaborations.

When you do so, just because you want to give, what you’ll receive will come to you manifold.

When you don’t know

When you don’t know, you still know.

It’s just a question of going deep within.

Let’s say you don’t know what to do when a friend does not respond to an important message of yours.

When you say: “I don’t know,” it is rather you deciding to overlook the option of staying calm mentally as well as physically.

The journey is never of the answer. The journey is of acceptance. You know it. When you do, how are you going to handle it? Most of us don’t know how to handle ourselves. Learning that, is the goal.

Oprah was right

For several years, I’ve seen Oprah repeat Maya Angelou’s words:

When people show you who they are, believe them!

I for the longest time used to think that this was not right.

And proved myself wrong over and over again.

Oprah was very very right about what she said.

When people show you they’re mean, believe them.

When people show you they’re kind, believe them.

When people show you they’re angry, believe them.

And while you do believe them, continue believing in your own power to be super focused and powerful to what you radiate out to them. You be you, perhaps they will show you a better side of themselves.

Trust and Betrayal

There’s a very close relationship of mine, where I do not feel the need to be around them anymore. We’ve been very well connected, to the extent that when I used to cry alone miles away, she used to have an intuition that something is wrong with me.

Then today, I had a conversation with a mutual friend, who said she has been pushing him to convince me to take a major life step, which I do not want to take.

Then it really hit me to connect the dots. Just because this person does not respect my life choices at an inner level, I had been consistently losing this feeling of being around them.

That is such a deep thing. Not because I was #betrayed. Okay maybe I was, however a deeper thing was that we always act out basis what is happening there inside.

There are no two sides. The white ultimately becomes light grey shortly which ends up becoming black over a period of time.

Trust is something you build when they’re not watching. Hard to build trust with someone if you don’t trust yourself.

I don’t have anger against them, I only have blessings for them to trust and respect themselves. Because it takes a broken person from inside to disrespect and not give trust to the other person’s choices.

Think. Believe. Act.

The title of this blog is not an OC. Yet, we all have read this literature about this thing called Law of Attraction.

What we think about, we bring about.

What we go through a lot in our heads, we get it.

What we believe, we materialise.

Think what do you want, what do you want the world to be and look like, and those thoughts, created over and over and over again, will create the reality we all are so heartily waiting for.

An introvert’s positivity

Be positive.

Spread the positive vibes.

Give goodness to others.

Speak positively.

While all of that may hold true, if you’re an introvert, none of this might hold true to you.

You may just want to sit around and observe life. Be calm and say nothing. Simply smile with an acute gratitude and bliss at the same time. Forming stories inside your own head.

Just be that, the world needs your things, as Susan Cain said. You being yourself is the best gift you could give to yourself.

Strange, no?

You post content to be liked.

Or may be you post it because you want to share some inspiration.

The reason could be any. The intention, couldn’t be any.

The intention, your vibes, your positivity, and your power, reaches way before you say or post anything.

And it’s a powerful journey.

When people know who you are, what you do starts making sense automatically.
